The pirates of penzance

One of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most well-known, The Pirates of Penzance was the last musical of our Stellar summer season, showcasing the talent and unity of Philipsburg.

From popular music of Modern Major General to the obscure, this performance was a thrilling ride for the audience and a pleasure to perform.

one el of a town

Written by our very own local Steve Immenschuh and Tom Mullen, One El of a Town tells the history of Philipsburg with comedy and thrills Music written by Cassandra Hopkins encapsulates it all in true beauty.

Soon to be an annual production by popular demand, this show will instill the knowledge of Philipsburg’s roots in audiences to come.

Written by Philip King, this straight play has brought laughter and chaos to stages for decades and did not disappoint in Philipsburg.

Laughter erupted throughout the walls of the theatre as the actors leaped across the stage and through the balcony. Certainly a crowd favorite!

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

The talented children of Philipsburg came together to create a fun, comedic, and heartwarming performance of Mark Twain’s tales of Tom Sawyer.

Seventeen children opened the first Philipsburg Children’s Theatre in this historic building and are continuing with a fall production.
